RETREAT SPEAKER ~ Saturday Evening & Sunday Morning
EVANGELINE WIENER   View Interview video

Evangeline’s dream began at age 5, when she prayed for a man who was then healed! It began a deep desire in her to dream with God. After that, she had a vision in which people were in an open field as far as the eye could see, hearing the gospel. Wheelchairs were piled up on both sides of the stage. Evangeline said, "This is when I knew I was called to bring revival."

In 2008, Graham Cooke was at the Headquarters of Aglow encouraging and pulling out vision for this next season. Evangeline saw a picture of every community of Christians becoming the answer to their community’s unique problems; each person researching the social issues in their community, asking God for a strategy, and then bringing Christians together to answer those needs. From there, communities in their state joined to bring a practical social change in that place. Then all the states for their nation, and finally all the nations for the world. Then Evangeline realized, “This is when I knew I was called to bring restoration and train others to bring restoration to society.”

FRIDAY AFTERNOON
TIME OF REFLECTION  (song for Friday)  view powerpoint

This year you will be provided with a personal retreat meditation guide. Included will be thought provoking readings, scripture nuggets, and personal questions to assist you in your quiet time with God. All of the material will focus on our retreat theme... and will draw you into intimacy with your heavenly Father as you step out in faith, cross over your present challenges, begin to establish your own legacy, and enter into His promised rest!

You may spend an hour, or spend the afternoon... in seeking God with this self-directed booklet.  You may do it alone or engage in the activities with your friends. You may take a walk to a favorite spot, explore someplace new or find a comfy table to share with friends. This will be a fundational part of our retreat this year!

The Hendrickson family

WORSHIP LEADERS

Mark & Debbie Hendrickson have served with Mike Bickle in several churches over the last 30 years.  They have pioneered and pastored a church in Wisconsin where they lived for nearly 12 years.  In 2000, they returned to Kansas City to help the International House of Prayer (IHOP-KC).  Mark and Debbie have led worship most of their lives and have ministered as a team with their family; all who sing and play instruments and do public speaking.  Mark & Debbie, Luke, John, and Lydia all travel itinerately; guest speaking, leading worship and conducting worship and "harp and bowl" seminars. We are pleased to have this family provide the music for our retreat. Dwelling Place Ministries website  link to music
